September 20, 2008: Hogs & Heroes Poker Run, Chesapeake Md
Heroes Cross was the last stop of the 2008 Hogs & Heroes Poker Run, sponsored by the UD Riders Association, comprised of officers from the Uniformed Division of the US Secret Service. All proceeds from the run benefited HEROES, Inc.® (click for more information), a non-profit founded in 1964 by a group of Metropolitan Washington businessmen with the singular goal of assisting the widows and children of law enforcement officers and firefighters who give their lives in the line of duty. Heroes Cross donated 10% of its sales at the run to Heroes Inc.

June 22, 2008: 9th Annual Motorcycle Ride to Benefit C.O.P.S., Howard County, Maryland

Heroes Cross attended the 9th Annual Motorcycle Ride to Benefit C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), a support group for families who have lost an officer in the line of duty. The ride attracted over 1200 riders from over 12 locations in the greater Washington DC - Baltimore area. It culminated at the Howard County Fairgrounds. Heroes Cross donated over 10% of its sales to the cause. Over $102,000 was raised for the Maryland Chapter of C.O.P.S.

Nina Cusanelli, LLC CEO Al Risdorfer has announced a partnership with Andy Belmont Racing ( ABR ) of Concord, North Carolina, beginning with the February 9, 2008 ARCA ReMax Series 200 at the Daytona (FL) International Speedway. Andy Belmont Racing has become a marketing partner for the Heroes CrossTM product line. Heroes Cross was formed out of respect and appreciation for American heroes and seeks to help charitable organizations through a portion of all sales being donated to various charities.
“Heroes CrossTM is very excited about our partnership with Andy Belmont Racing. Andy is an icon in the ARCA ReMax Series and we couldn't be happier with the help they have provided us bringing praise and recognition for our military, police, firefighters and the many other heroes in our country,” said Risdorfer.
The ABR Ford Fusion piloted by Painesville, Ohio native Jake Francis will carry the Heroes Cross colors at the famed 2.5 mile superspeedway during the live Speed Channel broadcast beginning at 4PM (EST) on February 9th. In addition, Heroes CrossTM will ride along with Cherry Hill New Jersey's Tom Hessert on the #1 Maaco Ford Fusion. The racing community is the most patriotic and caring group of people you will find anywhere on the planet.” commented Belmont from the team headquarters. “Our company has always done our best to help those who help others. There are generations of firefighters in both Jen's and my family so we understand first hand the sacrifice they and their families make. We are proud to be part of bringing the Heroes CrossTM message to the country.”
A portion of all Heroes CrossTM product sales in the Daytona area during speed weeks will be directed to Focus Motorsports Ministries of Concord, North Carolina. FMM provides ongoing spiritual support for race teams during ARCA ReMax Series events across the country. During speed weeks, an ABR show car will be on display at the world famous Skip's Boots on International Speedway Boulevard. Heroes CrossTM product will also be available at this location to support Focus Motorsports Ministries.
